7 months of an internship program for my practicum at the Ethiopian Catholic missionaries, I worked on a group and individual counseling for new mothers from different backgrounds and rape victims. I also formed a support group for chronic illness patients. I gave training to those mothers on the importance of their mental health, infant nutrition, life skill training, what it means to be independent and HIV and AIDS prevention. I have joined the volunteering world for 7 years, and I acquired more than enough experience working with women and children, where my passion lies.
