Members learned the rule of thirds, framing, balance, lines, simplicity, and avoiding mergers. and also learned slowing down, pre-visualizing a shot, pausing to look through the viewfinder. Through interactive activities, participants observed different photos, assigned them to these rules, and then practiced taking one subject from multiple directions to see how perspective changes a story.
