Restructuring for Sustainability

“Change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind. To the fearful, it is threatening because it means that things may get worse. To the hopeful, it is encouraging because things may get better. To the confident, it is inspiring because the challenge exists to make things better.”

The seminar highlighted the testing nature of any change in the business world and emphasized the crucial attribute of adaptability in the corporate realm. It stressed that to endure and thrive, organizations must possess the ability to adapt whenever challenges arise.

Among the various changes a company may face, organizational restructuring was identified as one of the most challenging. This is because restructuring often involves significant alterations to various aspects of the business, including products, employees, ownership, and even the original mission and business model.

The primary objective of the seminar was to foster success by providing insights into understanding change and how to effectively manage it. It recognized that in business, the best approach to facing uncertainty is to be well-prepared with the necessary information to respond effectively to potential situations.

The seminar specifically acknowledged the importance of women’s businesses in the economic development of the country, with AWiB aspiring to inspire the business community to come together and flourish through these collaborative efforts.
