Azeb is a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) professional. She is results-oriented and a dedicated advocate for evidence-based community development. With over five years of progressive experience, Azeb has specialized in managing adaptive monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems for programs funded by major international donors, including USAID and the Mastercard Foundation.
Currently serving as a MEAL Officer at the Youth Network for Sustainable Development (YNSD), she plays a key role in refining project frameworks and ensuring they remain responsive to the needs of youth and women. Azeb’s professional journey is defined by a “data for action” philosophy and an unwavering passion for using evidence to drive meaningful change. Her education equips her with the strategic oversight and management expertise necessary for leading complex development initiatives. She is a natural mentor and facilitator who takes pride in building the capacity of project teams and stakeholders.
As an aspiring writer she has joined AWiB where she brings out her passion in a safe space where judgement doesn’t curtail a budding talent. She holds a Master of Science degree in Project Management.
