Temnet currently serves as the Co-Founder of Medanit Counselling and the Lead of Therapists at MindWhispers Ethiopia, the country’s largest mental health platform, where she provides leadership to clinical teams and helps expand access to quality mental health services.

Her work spans individual counseling, mental health program development, and interdisciplinary collaboration, with a focus on ethical practice and community well-being. Temnet is actively engaged in mental health awareness and advocacy initiatives aimed at reducing stigma and promoting psychological health across diverse populations.

Her professional interests include leadership in mental health systems, service development, and building sustainable, people-centered approaches to care. She is recognized for her ability to guide teams, implement evidence-based practices, and contribute to policies and programs that strengthen mental health infrastructure and accessibility in Ethiopia.  Temnet holds an MA in Counseling Psychology and Psychiatry.
