The Inkomoko Livelihood program offers invaluable support to help your business thrive:

• Recoverable Loans: Access capital ranging from $100 to $50,000 at a low 10% interest rate and without requiring collateral.

While the program is sector-agnostic and open to any legally registered business in Addis Ababa and Sheger City, INKOMOKO strongly encourages businesses that can create more jobs and add value to the country. Women-owned and women-led businesses will receive priority.

INKOMOKO also specifically focuses on marginalized communities, including refugees and low-income host communities. Currently, they are permitted to operate in Addis Ababa, Asosa, and Jigjiga cities.

Are you eligible? Here’s what you need:

• Business License: Your business should have a license for at least 3 months (exceptions may apply for refugees and Ethiopian informal sector MSMEs).
• Age: You must be between 18 and 65 years old. Women and individuals under 35 are highly encouraged to apply!
• Location: Your business must be based in Addis Ababa or Sheger City.
