Since its founding in 2021, Nu Chika Enabuka has hosted three major family festivals at Addis Ababa’s iconic Meskel Square, attracting over 40,000 participants who come together to experience traditional games, savor local foods, and enjoy captivating performances. In 2023, they embarked on a global mission to share the essence of Ethiopian childhood with the world, launching in Dubai and expanding to Ethiopian communities in North America.

Nu Chika Enabuka’s programs include unique collaborations with schools, a dedicated play, culture, and art center, and children’s media production, all recognized for their role in strengthening family bonds and cultural identity. Looking forward, they are excited to introduce children to the wonders of nature through creative clay-making and hands-on experiences that nurture imagination, artistic skills, and a love for the natural world.
