Hareg is a professional with contagious positive energy who greatly values knowledge, honesty, camaraderie and respect. She served the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) working in international banking businesses for twenty-four years before taking on her new role at Nib Bank. She is also a long-standing member for over a decade at AWiB and contributed to the vision of AWiB while she sat on the AWiB Board in 2023.

Her extensive career at CBE and active involvement at AWiB have undoubtedly pre-prepared Hareg well for her new leadership role. Professionals like Hareg, who are committed to lifelong learning and development, are invaluable assets to organizations. Taking on this leadership role at Nib Bank will allow Hareg to further leverage her expertise & knowledge in international banking.
