On Saturday, 13 December 2025, AWiBers came together for an engaging Digital Literacy session facilitated by AWiB’s Communications Lead, Helina Abye. The session was designed to support leaders and change agents in navigating today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape by strengthening both mindset and practical skills.

Through interactive icebreakers, discussions, and hands-on demonstrations, participants explored how digital transformation is reshaping leadership, collaboration, and decision-making. Helina emphasized the importance of agile leadership, empowering teams through trust and flexibility, and understanding cybersecurity as a shared responsibility. 

Participants were also introduced to practical digital tools for communication, project management, productivity, and collaboration. Helina concluded the session underlining that the key to effective digital leadership is the intentional and confident use of technology.
