Helina is a medical doctor with a strong background in clinical medicine, training and health communication. She has worked as a frontline physician in different specialized hospitals in Addis Ababa. She has also worked as content creator to a digital health platform named Yetena Weg and contributed articles to educate the Ethiopian public on matters concerning health which has earned her recognition from the state Ministry of Health. She continues to contribute at Yetena Weg as team lead of disability inclusivity in healthcare. She is passionate about health equity and dreams of an Ethiopia where healthcare is accessible for all.
