Roman’s role entails providing clinical services, supporting capacity-building initiatives, and contributing to community health programs. She has over nine years of professional experience as a clinician, researcher, and academician, including more than three years of service in a refugee camp setting.
Her professional contributions include delivering essential clinical services, strengthening health workforce capacity, contributing to ethical review processes as a volunteer clinician and reviewer for the Ethiopian Medical Association (EMA) Ethics Committee, and actively promoting women’s health and wellbeing through her engagement with the Association of Women in Boldness (AWiB).
She has a strong professional interest in global health, maternal and child health, and refugee health. Roman holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and a Master’s degree in Public Health.
