A leader and co-founder of She Rises Charity Organization(SRCO), Hilina dedicates her life to advancing women empowerment, women’s rights, reducing gender-based inequalities, and supporting inclusive policies through evidence-based approaches. She is also a trainer of women empowerment programs.

She has extensive experience as program coordinator in gender equality, women’s empowerment, and social inclusion programs in Ethiopia. Striving to contribute technical expertise in gender mainstreaming, policy analysis, and community-based interventions, she advocates for equitable and sustainable development outcomes.

Working at Federal Housing Corporation (FHC) has taught Hilina interpersonal skills and strong discipline to meet deadlines, ability to create and lead strong teams, gained insight of managing public private partnership(PPP) programs that has become the tools to lead Sherises into a dynamic women led organization. 

Hilina is known for her compassionate leadership and her determination to challenge harmful social norms. Hilina holds a BSc. in Engineering Management.
