Tinsae leads initiatives to strengthen healthcare workforce capacity by coordinating specialized training programs for healthcare professionals. Tinsae focuses on addressing disparities in resource-limited settings. She co-founded a civil society organization focused on research, training, and advocacy in global health and non-communicable diseases, driving impactful policy development and capacity building.
Tinsae is also the 2024 Global Surgery Advocacy Fellow, advocating for global surgery research in Ethiopia. Driven by a passion for evidence-based policymaking, she is dedicated to closing knowledge gaps and advancing health equity globally.
Tensae is a medical doctor and global health leader with a Master’s degree in Global Health Delivery, specializing in Health Management.
