Nardos has extensive experience leading initiatives to support marginalized communities and foster human rights protections across Sub-Saharan Africa. She designs and manages projects on the safety and security of human rights defenders, mobilizes resources, provides trainings and monitors regional human rights conditions.
Nardos has also served as a Senior Human Rights Expert at the Ethiopian Human Rights Council and as a Lecturer at Haramaya University, teaching public international law and human rights while offering community legal aid services.
Nardos Founded and is an Advisory Committee Member of the Ethiopian Women Human Rights Defenders Network. She also sits on the Board of Ethiopian Human Rights Council.
Nardos holds LL.B. in Laws and LL.M. in Human Rights Law and certifications in project management.
