Meheret has empowered communities across Ethiopia through her extensive work in civil service, international NGOs, and leadership roles in project and program management. With a strong commitment to gender equality and youth empowerment, she dedicates her career to advancing social and economic inclusion, fostering resilience, and promoting sustainable development.
With a vision of establishing and leading her own organization, Meheret is devoted to giving back to society by creating spaces where resources and unconditional support are available to those in need. She holds an MBA with a specialization in Project Management and a BA in Economics.
The Leader in Me
There was a time in my life when I was searching deeply for a platform or community that could nurture my leadership potential. I needed a space that could guide me, challenge me, and help me clearly define my vision so I could finally begin to live it with purpose. I wasn’t just looking for training—I was looking for alignment, clarity, and a path that could connect who I was with who I wanted to become.
Joining the Haset Women’s Leadership Program at that exact moment was not a coincidence. It felt like an answered prayer, a reminder that when we genuinely seek growth, God places the right opportunities in our lives exactly when we need them.
Through Haset, I found more than knowledge; I found transformation. One of the biggest lessons I gained was the power of knowing my WHY—understanding the deeper purpose behind what I do, who I serve, and the impact I hope to make. It taught me that leadership becomes meaningful only when it is rooted in authenticity, when we show up as our true selves rather than who we think the world expects us to be.
