Helina has six years of experience in the humanitarian aid sector, focusing on emergency response. Previously, she worked as a Senior Program Associate (Cash Based Transfer / Identity Management) at the World Food Program’s Ethiopia Country Office, where she coordinated and assisted the digital registration, for food and nutrition program activities in four regions of the country.
Helina is driven by a commitment to improving the well-being of society and communities through lifesaving contributions. Helina strives to continue her work in creating a more equal, peaceful and sustainable world.
Helina holds two master’s degrees: one in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid, and another in Project Planning and Management, where she specialized in project design, cycle management, and implementation within the humanitarian sector
