Melkam is a program manager at Youth Network for Sustainable Development (YNSD), a local non-government organization.

Melkam worked in several healthcare facilities as a nurse and public health specialist. She worked as a lecturer in public and private health colleges, instructing medical students in a variety of disciplines.

Melkam has a strong work ethic, strong team building skills. She is adept at learning from diversity, interactive communication and interpersonal skills. She is a quick learner, gives close attention to accuracy and details.

Melkam has an easy and consistent personality in interacting with others and proficient at multitasking to achieve intended goals. Melkam holds a BA in management, a BSc and an MSc in public health.
