Betelehem graduated from Addis Ababa University with a specialty in Internal Medicine and serves as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the institution. With over a decade of experience at Tikur Anbessa Hospital, she has gained a firsthand understanding of the gravity of healthcare challenges, which motivates her to drive meaningful change.

As Vice President at HELP Ethiopia CSO, a volunteer-based organization, Betelehem works tirelessly to empower health professionals and enhance patient care, contributing to the community’s overall betterment. Her strong focus on communication, problem-solving, and brainstorming allows her to bring innovative solutions to the table. Passionate about educating and mentoring future healthcare professionals, she is deeply committed to improving service delivery in Ethiopia.
