Tikuret Lesetoch Ena Lehitsanat Mahiber (TLLM) is organizing a 2025 Awareness Creation and Fitness Event titled “In their Shoes” on April 6, 2025. The event is dedicated to raising awareness and advocating for the challenges faced by children with special needs and their mothers while also promoting physical well-being and community engagement. Additionally the event is intended to fundraise for the construction of a G+6 daycare, training and feeding center.

TLLM is a local non governmental organization that was established in 2007. It has been working towards its mission, which is, creating lasting positive change that exerts its utmost for children with special needs and their mothers in Ethiopia. TLLM has supported more than 12,000 community members in its 18-year journey.

Moreover, TLLM supports 344 (164 children with special needs and 164 of their mothers) half in Nefase-Silk Lafto 13 sub-division woredas and half in Sheger City Furi sub city to improve their educational, economic, and social capacities in its outreach program as well as in temporary daycare, feeding and training center – Acacia village special needs center.

TLLM is calling for volunteers and t-shirt sales for its awareness event.
