  • The Law of Reciprocity

    The law of reciprocity states that what we give, we receive. This law not only applies for material things but relationships. If we want more love, kindness and compassion the best thing to do is to give it. If we want a true friend the best way to gain that is to be one ourselves. The concept of reciprocity may not be something that we have been intentionally doing in the past but it has been working in our lives whether we acknowledge it or not.

    Self-esteem is our subjective evaluation of our individual worth and how we see ourselves. A positive self-esteem enables us to navigate the ups and downs of life with our chins up and eyes forward-looking. It allows us to have a balanced opinion of our capabilities and limitations. A negative or low self-esteem makes us devalue our abilities and limits our contributions, stagnating our potential.
