What is in a Dream?
“Dream and give yourself permission to envision a YOU that you choose to be.” ~ Joy Page
Dreams are not the mere wishes we have now and then; our dreams are the visions that bring us to a state of being whole and complete just from imagining them. Our dreams and aspirations help us understand ourselves more and vice versa so many can relate with you if you feel like you don’t really know your dream. To really identify our dreams, it is important for us to know and be clear about what we want as well as the why behind it. We usually dream of creating a life for ourselves and those around us but it’s usually not an easy task to really grab the idea and put it on the ground. In order to make our dreams come true, we need to break it down into actionable items with targeted goals.
The framework & approach that works for different individuals may differentiate, but visionaries in history who have consistency in their approach made their dreams which seemed impossible a reality. How do we create cultivate the behaviors, habits and discipline that can bring us to the bits and bytes of goals – the bricks that make up our dream? Adjusting our lifestyles to ones that drive us to our dreams through accomplishing our short term and long-term goals is crucial. It is also important to continuously take lessons and improve ourselves through the process. As individuals accomplishing our dreams inevitably becomes more than about ourselves – it shines out impacting our families and communities.
