A man may forget his wife’s birthday year after year and asks “Why doesn’t she remind me?”. A woman asks her brother to pick up her kids at the same time he plans to watch a football game and he gets upset. She says “He’s just missing 30 mins of the game, what’s the big deal?”. Most of us find ourselves in similar situations, yet it’s usually very difficult to empathize for the other because we don’t really understand how the other perceives & values things.

Men & women are different in terms of how we express love, handle conflicts, interpret things, interact socially, and how open we are to change. However, these seemingly simple differences affect our relationships.

Understanding our complementary strengths & weaknesses will help us best utilize our strengths, transforms our weaknesses to opportunities for growth, and brings harmony in our relationships.

“She doesn’t get it! He doesn’t get it!” is a fun session facilitated by husband & wife relationship counselor team using parables to illustrate stories in real time.

Outcome

Upon completion of this Round Table Discussion (RTD), you will:

• Understand how simple misunderstandings turn into conflicts
• Identify our own shortcomings and assumptions about the way men & women communicate
• Equip yourself with practical steps to improve opposite sex interactions
