Right listening, or active and mindful listening, is all about truly connecting with the person speaking. It’s not just about hearing their words; it’s about giving them your full attention, being present with them in that moment, and understanding not only what they’re saying but also the emotions and deeper meaning behind their words. This kind of listening requires empathy, openness, and a non-judgmental mindset—it’s about being there for them, fully and completely.

Right listening creates a space where communication flows smoothly, understanding deepens, and trust grows—whether in personal or professional relationships. It helps build an environment where everyone feels heard, valued, and respected, making it a truly supportive place for meaningful connections to thrive. Outcome

Upon completion of this workshop, you will:

• Understand what right listening is and why it is important
• Learn about the elements of right listening – attention, empathy, non-verbal cues, reflection, tolerance, and summarizing what you heard
• Develop mindful presence and empathic understanding 
• Identify effective conflict resolution methods through listening and building trust
