Habit Formation
We are creatures of habit!
Habit formation is the process by which behaviours through regular repetition become automatic. We usually acquire habits without being intentional about it but the fact is we can also cultivate or eliminate them deliberately.
Old habits can be difficult to shake off, and healthy habits are often harder to develop than one would like. But through repetition, it’s possible to form and maintain new habits and eliminate bad ones. Even long-time habits that are detrimental to one’s health and well-being can be broken with enough determination and a smart approach.
Outcome
Upon the completion of this seminar, you will:
- Understand how you have formed your old habits – the good as well as the bad ones
- Reflect on the root cause for developing those habits
- Learn how to develop new habits that can improve the quality of your life
