Have you ever been triggered by something minor and overreacted? Have you ever wondered why you can’t pinpoint your emotions, let alone control them? If your answer is yes to both or one of these questions Emotional Intelligence (EI) is a skill you need in your tool box. And don’t worry you’re not alone most of us are on our own journey with our own pace.
Emotional Intelligence is the ability to understand and manage ones’ own emotions and understand the emotions of others. It is all about recognizing our emotions, understand what they’re telling us, and realizing how our emotions affect other people. The major elements of EI are self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills.
Outcome
Upon completion of this seminar, you will:
- Understand the different emotions and how to recognize them when they arise
- Identify the differences between suppressing emotions and effectively expressing our emotions
- Learn practices and tips that help you practice EI on a daily basis
