Creating your Profile
A profile is an introductory short description that highlights your relevant qualifications, skills, and passion. It is an effective way to quickly show your potential employer or partner how you would fit into the organization or project at hand.
Your profile is an important tool you can use in taking steps forward in your career. Creating it involves pulling all the information about your experience, passion, and skills then put together a concise short description. It needs a lot of focus and effort to put together a profile that best captures your experience as well as your ambition.
Outcome
Upon completion of this workshop, you will:
- Understand the important components to include in your profile
- Identify the areas you would like to focus on when introducing yourself through your profile
- Get tips on how to keep your profile up-to-date without leaving out the important elements essential for your career
