Aligning Your Physical Body to Your Emotional State
The mind-body connection is the link between a person’s thoughts, attitudes, and behaviours and their physical health. It is the connection that works by the feedback loop between the body and mind. The way that you feel influences the way that you think and vice versa—your body communicates your feelings and thoughts.
Your mind and body are not two separate entities, what happens to one affects the other. Treatments involving both mental and physical health are proven to be successful when treating any physical or mental illnesses. Being aware of the connection between your mind and body and creating an alignment is very important. Improved the quality of life, relapse prevention, improved stress responses, overall health and wellness are some of the benefits you get from creating and maintaining that alignment.
Outcome
Upon seminar of this workshop, you will:
- Understand the connection between our minds and bodies—how this connection affects different areas of our lives
- Learn how to maintain the connection between your mind and body using methods such as relaxation techniques, movements therapies, and more
- Reflect on your habitual physical states and how they affect your feelings and thoughts and vice versa.
