Tsion currently serves as a Senior Post Award Coordinator at Cure Blindness Project, where she supports programs across Africa and Asia that bolster national and local eye health care systems as well as lead outreach cataract surgery campaigns, restoring vision for thousands.

Through her past experiences and strong understanding of the social determinants of health, Tsion has dedicated herself to holistically improving the health of communities. 

Her passion for her profession and commitment to self-improvement have equipped, and continue to groom her to effectively create opportunities for others to thrive, and effect the changes she envisions for herself. With a strong belief that transformational changes are initiated at the grassroots level, Tsion hopes to contribute positively to her society through building community and sisterhood.

Tsion has a Masters degree in Public Health (MPH).
