Zenbil Recap

Have you ever noticed how certain thoughts seem to circle endlessly in your mind never spoken, yet never leaving? The recent Zenbil session invited participants to bring those hidden thoughts out into a safe space of listening, reflection, and understanding.
The session began with gentle relaxation movements, allowing everyone to settle into the present moment. This was followed by short self-introductions, creating a sense of openness and connection among participants.
A total of fifteen anonymous questions had been dropped into the Zenbil basket each written on a small rolled piece of paper. Because of time, eight questions were picked at random by participants. One by one, the chosen papers were unfolded and read aloud, and each person offered their thoughts in their own way, turning every question into a conversation woven from multiple perspectives.
The questions touched on personal fear, self-doubt, childhood trauma, self-worth, and even questions that called for the perspectives of psychologists and medical professionals. The discussions that followed were honest and relatable showing that behind each anonymous question was a story anyone could connect with.
Key takeaways:
- The session was the introduction of a simple reflective tool to help participants put their thoughts into words.
- It reminded everyone that none of us are truly alone; each question carried echoes of someone else’s story and everyone could relate to parts of every reflection shared.
