Self Branding Recap

AWiBers got together to attend the seminar titled ‘Self Branding’ on Saturday, November 16, 2024, facilitated by Selam Minaye, Strategy Director at Orangeswitch. The objective of the seminar was for participants to gain tools so they can easily define their brand, become an expert, establish a presence, connect with the right network, and get feedback from the people who are close to them.
Selam guided participants in defining themselves, their unique characteristics, values, purpose, mission and vision. She provided participants with interactive exercises that helped them network and get to know each other. A personal brand is the unique combination of qualities, skills, experiences, and values that define how others perceive you professionally and personally.
It reflects your identity, reputation, and the image you present to the world, making you stand out from others.
