Misrak works for The Hunger Project Ethiopia, an International NGO as a project manager for the right 2 grow program. Misrak is a development expert with extensive expertise in gender, livelihood, savings and credit, women’s empowerment, value addition, nutrition, WASH, and advocacy/lobbying.
Misrak has years of experience with project cycle management and community-based projects in both urban and rural areas of the country that includes 25 years of experience working in non-governmental organizations, advocacy and lobbying, wide range of stakeholders as communities, government entities, civil society organizations, private sectors, and academic institutions at all levels.
Misrak is adept in interpersonal skills to support her excel in a variety of work settings. She is well-organized, action and results oriented, problem solver and thrives on innovative challenges. She holds an MA in social work from Addis Ababa University and a BA in economics from Unity University College.
