Mihret serves as a Regional Program Coordinator at Inclusion Africa (IA). She is a fierce advocate for the rights of individuals with disabilities, focused on the rights of those with intellectual disabilities. She has been a strong voice for the more than 15,000 members of Fikir Ethiopia National Association of Intellectual Disabilities at the national level, representing a population of over 5 million in Ethiopia.
Mihret’s leadership extends to her role as the immediate past President of the Federation of Ethiopian National Association of Persons with Disabilities, where she has been a vocal advocate for the rights of over 20 million people with disabilities in Ethiopia. Mihret is one of the founders and president of the Special Olympics Ethiopia Committee.
Mihret serves as the President of Fikir Ethiopian National Association on Intellectual Disabilities and as the president of the Special Olympics committee of Ethiopia. Mihret is a devoted Rotarian, embodying the spirit of service above self.
Mihret holds MA in Project Management from St. Mary University and a BA in MIS from Unity University College.
