Helina Abye is an enthusiastic and dedicated young professional with a talent for connecting with others. Having a solid background in digital content management for the last five years and growing expertise in web development, Helina embodies the values of professionalism, adaptability, and teamwork. Her deep passion for technology and communications fuels her drive to continuously learn and expand her skillset, always striving to contribute to a better future for her community and the world at large. Serving as AWiB’s Communication Lead, Helina oversees the communications department and is responsible for the planning, execution, and monitoring of all marketing initiatives.

Holding a BA degree in Economics and an MA in Development Economics, Helina brings a wealth of experience spanning research, project coordination, blog writing, public relations, graphics design, and social media. Beyond her professional achievements, Helina is deeply committed to empowering young women through the transformative power of information, technology, and community engagement. Helina takes on improving lives and creating meaningful impact as her personal mission. She enjoys swimming, chocolate, and spending time with her family.
