Felekech ‘Fei’ Zewde, is a vibrant and eternally optimistic individual that made the move to her home country from the US in 2014. Since her arrival to Addis, she has experienced some of life’s milestones of becoming a wife and a mom, which has helped her stay grounded in her new home.

By profession, Fei is a Financial Analyst with an Economic and Finance background and holds an MBA in Strategy from the R.H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland.  Fei had an opportunity to work in the hospitality industry as a freelance consultant in the areas product sourcing and event management.  She is the co-founder of Yenaé Collection, a high-end fashion jewelry manufacturing and retail company based in the US.

She currently serves on the AWiB board in the hopes of giving back to the community by helping other women reach their potential, to become leaders in their community. In essence, to make women leaders a norm and not an exception. AWiB provides such a platform while simultaneous helping you grow to realize the best version of yourself, Fei welcomes the challenge and ready to make a lasting impact in the community.
